ViQi Inc develops big image data analysis and management solutions for those scientific researchers and developers working in those arenas. The firm's technology is designed to make image processing more accessible to all researchers and developers through a user-friendly, adaptable and scalable cloud-based software that can visualize, analyze and store over 250 types of large-scale image formats in one central web-based repository. In July 2022 it was announced that ViQi, Inc. been awarded by DOE an SBIR Phase IIB grant - not a common occurence - on its previously funded Interactive Visualization of Multi-Terabyte Datasets on Commodity Hardware
