Gryphon Technologies LC, had been organized around delivery of engineering services with specialties in warfare systems and integration, naval architecture and marine engineering, program management, test and evaluation, and logistics: managing the development and operations of these mission critical systems and providing a spectrum of services in support of system acquisition programs for national security. Examples include concept development and requirements analysis, systems engineering, combat systems engineering, system installation support, test and evaluation support, maintenance and repair services, as well as life cycle support analysis. In September 2018, it had been announced that Gryphon Technologies had been acquired in a leverage buyout by AE Industrial Partners - a private investment firm organized around enabling companies succeed in the ever-changing work of aerospace, power generation. Over the next two-three period , the new entity acquired (in 2020) OMNITEC Solutions, Bethesda MD - an information technology company offering strategic and operational support solutions; PGFM Solutions (in July 2019) is an engineering firm operating out of the South Jersey area and in March 2019 Schafer Corporation a provider of technology services and solutions for customers with missions of national significance. In December 2021 it was announced that the entire Gryphon group had been acquired by ManTech for $350M
