NEOEx Systems Inc is organized around providing useful information to clients through dispatch of long endurance unmanned aerial vehicles at affordable prices. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) - drones - include many types of systems: quad copters, small hand thrown fixed-wing planes, catapult launched medium sized vehicles or those using short run ways, to very large vehicles capable of flying around the world conducting recognizance missions and launching missiles. For the UAV operators, a critical challenge is flight duration. To drive propellers, UAVs may use batteries or internal combustion engines. Batteries are heavy and internal combustion engines are inefficient at converting aviation fuels. Hydrogen fuel - being both light weight and an energy efficient fuel cell to convert the hydrogen into electricity - offers an alternative way to drive the electric motors: more efficient propulsion system. NEOEx Systems is set up to provide UAV data collection services using a UAV platform powered by fuel cells and liquid hydrogen - potentially extending flight duration up to 72 hours. NEOEx is developing a gaseous hydrogen fueled prototype of this platform year for the National Weather Servicewith the next step flying with liquid hydrogen.
