With facilities in NJ, CT and MD, Global Engineering and Materials, Inc (GEM) provides specialized research, engineering consulting, and software development for the US Navy, US Air Force, University Research Laboratories, and other commercial industries. The firms' wide spectrum of engineering services includes computational mechanics, stochastic mechanics, structural integrity and durability assessment of advanced structures, and analysis tool and software development. In addition to the technology development, GEM is also emphasizing in the transferring the research tools developed at Universities to commercial products. Staff have conducted various projects sponsored by Office of Naval Research (ONR), the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCCD), the Air Fore Research Laboratory, and several university research centers and private companies.
