Tri-Guard works in the software security industry on both the research and product development frontiers. Current activities include: • An ongoing partnership with the University of Nebraska Omaha to assess the impact of mandatory Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) requirements on the software industry. • Development of a new instrument to analyze FISMA's relevancy to software security. • Development of a product to vet mobile apps for security compliance. • Input about effective system security engineering to major industry conferences and forums. Tri-Guard focuses on eliminating software weaknesses before they become vulnerabilities, from development to disposal of the system lifecycle.
