Involving experienced industry veterans, the focus of Aeris Technologies had been on development of the next-generation laser-based gas analyzers for applications in environmental monitoring, laboratory analysis, and industrial process control. Having only very limited SBIR-involvement - only a NASA PhaseI project in 2016, in March 2022it was announced that Aeris Technologies had been acquired by Project Canary - a Denver CO basedfirm in the business of reducing GHG emissions and impacts in the energy, waste, and agriculture sectors through sensor measurement.
