Pascalor Inc. is focused on commercializing proprietary pressure and temperature sensors developed at the Advanced Polymer Research Lab at UT Dallas for a variety of applications for the internet of things. Using the world's best pressure and temperature sensors, the firm can create products such as a force-touchscreen, which can track finger movement above and through the screen, proximity sensors to track human activity, and on-skin sensor arrays for tracking pulse, blood pressure, blood flow, and temperature gradients. The firm is initially targeting utilizing sensor arrays for next-generation touchscreens. Adding a third dimension of input will lead to more a more intuitive user interface, being able to differentiate between all levels of finger pressure from the lightest touch to the heaviest press.
