Established to commercialize work initiated at Texas A&M - technology was partly developed through competitive awards from ARPA-E - Framergy is structure to mimic the way nature builds materials and systems at a nano-level, allowing for precise advancements in a broad range of current clean applications - including low pressure natural gas or hydrogen storage for vehicles and efficient well head gas separations. Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs), referred to by many names, are revolutionizing clean energy. The storage capacity of MOFs makes this technology an ideal energy warehouse. MOFs can take the form of a wide range of creations: sponges in the abatement of greenhouse gases; storage devices for hydrogen or natural gas fueled vehicles; vessels for carefully-controlled catalysts; and even enhancements to electromagnetic materials. framergy is organzied around three goals: 1) increase Metal Organic Framework (MOF) working capacities, 2) industrialize low-cost MOF technology, and 3) advance the world's clean technology solutions. Working with industry, framergy provides Metal Organic Frameworks, Porous Polymer Networks and Ligands as a reliable, high volume, high quality, low cost product for clean energy and other applications.
