It is primarily engaged in research, consulting, and the selling and servicing of advanced atmospheric and environmental monitoring instruments The firm manufactures an portable optical particle counter that is designed for aerosol particle size distribution measurements from unmanned aerial platforms, indoor environments, ground-based sensor networks and clean room monitoring. The POPS accurately measures particle diameters between approximately 0.15 to 3.0 um using single-particle light scattering with a power consumption of ~ 5 W. They also built an open path cavity ring spectrometer, an in situ instrument capable of measuring ambient light extinction coefficients and visibility at true atmospheric conditions.
