GC Image LLC, spun off from software developed at the Computer Science and Engineering Department from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, is developing software solutions for visualizing, analyzing, and reporting data from comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography (GCxGC), comprehensive two-dimensional liquid chromatography (LCxLC), and other multidimensional analytical systems. GC Image offers services relating to scientific data processing, advanced visualization technologies, and software design in order to provide cross-vendor software that imports data files from a variety of detectors in vendor-specific and industry-standard formats. The company's newest software provides tools for sample classification and biomarker discovery with comprehensive two-dimensional chromatography and high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS).
