Developing advanced concepts in morphing structures, sensors and actuators, structural health monitoring, and integrated antennas in addition to designing the latest in engineering analysis and design methods to support these core technical disciplines, NextGen Aeronautics is structured around providing advanced enabling technologies for future-generation aerospace vehicles. Core capabilities include structural technologies, including adaptive and multifunctional structures, that allow enhanced performance of aerospace systems over a greater flight regime as well as affording great overall mission capabilities than conventional platforms available today. As a company, the goal is to provide the latest in advanced structural technologies and engineering methods and services to the aerospace community: developing technologies to advance the frontiers of flight. Rooted in aerospace structures, principals of the firm have expanded in-house expertise to innclude R&D, design, fabrication and testing in a wide range of disciplines, including multi-functional materials and structures, sensing and control systems, and integrated antennas. The assembled team of engineers, scientists, and technicians working on an ever-changing set of exciting and challenging projects, in close collaboration with customers and partners, has completed over 130 projects, ranging from basic research to complete flight and underwater vehicles, for DARPA, Air Force, Navy, Army, major systems integrators, as well as small companies. The effort isto create the technologies, integrates them into systems, and fabricates complete products.
