Lancaster-based Thermacore is moving its materials technology division from Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, to a larger facility in nearby Rostraver.
The move to the 60,000-square-foot facility near Pittsburgh will bring about 40 new jobs while tripling the amount of office and manufacturing space for the division, the company said Tuesday.
The move to Rostraver began in August and is expected to be completed by March.
Thermacore, which has its corporate headquarters at 780 Eden Road, develops thermal management products: technology for cooling and dissipating heat produced by electronics and other high-tech systems.
Its applications are used in ultra-high speed flight vehicles for the military or aerospace industry as well in armaments, medical devices and electronics cooling products.
Thermacore has more than 180 employees in five U.S. facilities and one in the United Kingdom.
