Public Profile

In December 2010, Geospatial Systems Inc was acquired by Optech Incorporated. Formerly known as Pixel Physics, Geospatial Systems, Inc. (GSI) serves the Homeland Security, Department of Defense, and Environmental monitoring markets using proprietary optical and radar sensor technology to create state of the art situational awareness systems. The GSI application focus is on high-end aerial and terrestrial surveillance systems for military and commercial applications including terrain mapping systems, perimeter security systems, tactical situational awareness systems for urban deployment, and defense and commercial environmental assessment. Included in the GSI product offering are instruments with optical, radar, and software capability that enable geo-referenced aerial mapping and surveillance, real-time target detection and identification, and products that have unique capability to render ineffective traditional methods of stealth (camouflage and cover by darkness) employed by individuals seeking to compromise perimeter security systems.
