FTL Labs Corporation is a engineering and products development company specialzing in working on products that come out of the academic arena but having useful market potential. An example of such a project would be the manufacture of the Playsurface Touchtable, an open-source touch-sensitive table capable of running games and entertainment applications for children. FTL went on to customize the same technology for use in classroom applications. Another technology, termed "oil-eye" - capable of offering in-line anaylsis of oil composition - was developed for the Navy.
