HBGary Inc. is officially no longer owned or based out of the Sacramento region.
ManTech International Corp. (NASDAQ: MANT) announced that it had completed the acquisition of the security software firm.
HBGary’s Sacramento office is expected to remain open, and its employees will remain with the company. HBGary, whose customers include financial services, energy and critical infrastructure companies, will become part of a new commercial business unit within ManTech’s Mission, Cyber & Intelligence Solutions group. It will be led by senior vice president of strategy, Ken Silva.
HBGary was founded by Greg Hoglund nine years ago.
Virginia-based ManTech announced acquisition plans for HBGary in February. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
ManTech said the acquisition is not expected to have any material impact on the company’s 2012 financial results
