Wombat Security Technologies is all about cyber-security training, and now it has a tool for companies to test employees' knowledge of cyber threats.
The Oakland-based company is launching CyberStrength, a cloud-based system that helps chief information security officers assess employee knowledge. The idea is once a baseline is established, a training can be focused to weaknesses.
"By providing valuable feedback on the strength of employee knowledge of cyber threats, CyberStrength offers a new and unique defense against evolving cyber attacks," said Joe Ferrara, president and CEO of Wombat, in a written statement. "This innovative product empowers the security officer to drive targeted training and organizational compliance to give companies an overall stronger security posture in spite of escalating attacks."
