Geocent is making changes to reflect the growth of its Commercial, State and Local Government Sector Infrastructure Practice, ensuring excellent customer service and setting the practice up for continued geographic growth.
Former Infrastructure Practice Lead Jonathan Gardner has been promoted to Technical Account Manager. Jonathan will be Geocent's technical messenger for early-cycle infrastructure sales activity. Working with the sales team, Jonathan will be instrumental in qualifying and closing infrastructure opportunities for the company.
Jonathan is a driven infrastructure technology subject matter expert, known for applying "best fit solutions" to challenging business problems in today's increasingly complex technology field. He has over ten years of technology and management experience with specialties in SQL Server solutions, IT management, project management, and staff mentoring. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP), certified by the Project Management Institute, a Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP) in SQL Server Database Administration, and holds a BS degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Technology Management with a Minor in Business from Texas A&M University.
We would like to introduce Clay Gollier as the Commercial, State and Local Government Sector's new Infrastructure Practice Lead.
Clay has over 20 years of experience in systems engineering and design, network management, project implementations and business development. Clay and his team specialize in helping customers build stronger IT infrastructures through a broad mix of Microsoft-based cloud-computing services, proactive technical support, network design, virtualization solutions, and much more.
Prior to Geocent, Clay was Practice Director for Tribridge, manager of the infrastructure practice for The Cogent Company and director of engineering for The Harding Group. He has also served as a senior network engineer, an IT director and a network administrator in the technology services, healthcare and higher education industries.
Clay was born and raised in Belgium and became a U.S. citizen in 2001. He attended European University in Brussels and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is based in Dallas, Texas.
