Metairie, LA: October 16, 2013, Geocent named the LBTC/LTTO SBIR Company of the Year
Geocent has been named the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Company of the Year by the Louisiana Business & Technology Center (LBTC)/Louisiana Technology Transfer Office (LTTO). Geocent will be recognized for its outstanding achievements at the LBTO's 25th Anniversary and Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 6 -- 8 p.m. at the Lod Cook Conference Center at Louisiana State University. Many university administrators and community leaders will be present for the event including the Lieutenant Governor Jay Dardenne, Secretary of Louisiana Economic Development Stephen Moret, and the LSU President F. King Alexander.

Adding 50 engineers in the past 18 months on the design of NASA's next generation Space Launch System.
Supporting the Navy for the past four years and leading in the development of the VA's software for delivering educational benefits under the new GI Bill because of our Agile Development capability and the number of Scrum Master certifications Geocent holds.
Moving one SBIR for the Navy titled "Geospatial Data Services" to Phase III.
Winning and performing Phase I and II of a NASA SBIR titled "Advanced LIDAR Processing System (ALPS)."
Winning and performing Phase I of another NASA SBIR titled "COAST Map Sharing Plug-in (CMSP)."
Winning and performing Phase I of a DHS SBIR titled "OpenCOP."
Winning a new SBIR for the Army titled "User-worn Rehabilitative Devices for Balance Disorders."
