RESTON, Va., July 8, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Global InfoTek, Inc. (GITI) of Reston, VA announced that it has been awarded a contract as a prime contractor by SPAWAR Atlantic System Center (SSC) for engineering and technical support services in the Battle Space Awareness Portfolio in support of the Department of the Navy (DoN) and other SPAWAARSYSCEN Atlantic sponsors.The multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract has a one-year period of performance, four one-year options, and a total contract ceiling of $98,764,531 million available to all awardees, if all options are exercised. Global InfoTek is one of four prime contractors that received an award. The primary goal of the contract is to provide battle-space awareness services including the integration and test of systems focused on the delivery of battle space awareness, and intelligence capabilities as well as the integrated employment of information operations (IO) capabilities; the development, integration, and test of intelligence, battle space awareness, and IO applications and dedicated hardware.
