Pattern Insight Inc. said Tuesday it has agreed to sell its analytics and log management platform to VMware Inc. for undisclosed amount.
Mountain View-based Pattern Insight, which specializes in data mining and search tools, is selling its Log Insight product, team and technology to VMware as part of the transaction. Pattern Insight is backed by Venture Investors LLC John Lovitt and Dr. Kai Li.
The Log Insight product analyzes log and machine-generated data to benefit customers.
