The firm is able to solves some of the biggest problems major retailers and brands face: poor SEO resulting from duplicated product descriptions, outdated product landing pages, shopping cart abandonment, and the prohibitive cost and time factor associated with manually written descriptions. Linguastat was started by the inventors of MetaTagger, a power-tagging application developed by Metacode Technologies used by many Fortune 500 companies. Interwoven acquired Metacode Technologies for $150 million.
