The company also provides software-as-a-service based solutions for automated intelligence creation, research, monitoring, information discovery, and content creation. A range of players across various segments of the economy rely on Linguastats patented, algorithm-based suite of services to manage their product descriptions and other rich content for the web, mobile and tablet channels. The firm is able to solves some of the biggest problems major retailers and brands face: poor SEO resulting from duplicated product descriptions, outdated product landing pages, shopping cart abandonment, and the prohibitive cost and time factor associated with manually written descriptions. Linguastat was started by the inventors of MetaTagger, a power-tagging application developed by Metacode Technologies used by many Fortune 500 companies. Interwoven acquired Metacode Technologies for $150 million.
