In business since 1964, one of the founders of Smith-Root, in 1972 David Smith purchased Lee Rootâs stock and the company relocated to Vancouver, Washington. With primary focus on fisheries investigation products, the firm currently produce a full line of electrofishing and field research equipment and maintain a significant manufacturing facility on site.
