Public Profile
ACTOPROBE LLC is structured around the design, manufacture and sale of custom optical Spectroscopy/Microscopy Instruments for conventional Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), - effectively providing an accessory to existing AFM Systems in order to do optical microscopy and spectroscopy of biomedical specimens and compound semiconductor material & devices on a single molecular level. Biomedical Research uses include Optical spectroscopy of a single virus or a single string of DNA and tip-enhanced scanning probe Raman spectroscopy and optical nano-crystallography. Products developed by Astroprobe are also able to test Optoelectronic Materials and Nano-devices, including Color filter arrays (CFA) and micro-lens Characterization for focal plane arrays; and cross-sectional characterization of strain layer superlattices (SLS)
