It also provides mirrors, lenses, windows, gratings, etc.; and optics ranging from reflective and refractive precise aspheric, flat, and anamorphic optical components to common spheres and aspheres. In addition, the company offers EO subassembly design and integration; and optical component fabrication and design services ranging from build-to-print to concurrent engineering to design-to-specifications. It serves semiconductor, commercial and industrial, defense and security, space, ground astronomy, laser fusion and directed energy, special science project, laboratory test equipment, research and development, and specialty optic markets. L-3 Communications Tinsley Laboratories, Inc. was formerly known as Tinsley Laboratories, Inc. and changed its name in 2006 and operated as a subsidiary of L-3 Communications Corporation.
