Thortek Laboratories is developing a revolutionary, automotive, internal combustion engine. Our primary goal is to increase energy efficiency by more than 35% by routing waste heat back into the combustion chamber. Our second goal is to increase engine durability (lifetime) and decrease engine manufacturing and maintenance costs by eliminating 6 major engine systems, such as the valves & timing system, catalytic converter and muffler, and engine core cooling & antifreeze systems. Our final goal is the resulting engine must operate clean enough to qualify as a California Ultra-Low Emissions Vehicle.
