Pictometry International Corp merged with EagleView Technology Corp in January of 2013 to create technological solutions in the GIS, measurement and analytical space.The firm develops and markets integrated information systems that allow users to have high-resolution images of neighborhoods, landmarks, roads, and complete municipalities. Pictometry International Corp. provides geo-referenced aerial image libraries and related software for government and commercial applications. The company offers oblique, orthophotography, LiDAR remote sensing, 3D model, street view, and inside imagery for various cities internatoinally. The firm offers analytics & deployment and Imagery products as well as product training for EagleView's product line. In 2014, Verisk began acquiring EagleView for $650 million, however this deal was turned down by the FTC in Dec. of 2014.
